45 rue de Lille

Irié's stock.

I hope you know who is Irié! A japanese creator based in Paris who used and abused stretch, pearls and floral prints beginning in 1983 and literally constructing the commercial interest of rue du Pré-aux-Clercs at the left bank of Paris.

The other day as we prepared the sales (because aditionnaly I work as a sales assistant for Mister Irié) I had the luck of visiting his stock placed 45, rue de Lille. For the stylists and movie costume designers I only can compare this place to Les mauvais garçons(costume rental next to nation). The stock is a huge loft filled with 26 years of inspiration and collection archives, and event the left materials. All from the eighties untill today with on a mezanine boxes filled with runway shoes and accessories. Prints, textiles, emroderies, séquins. It's a pure crazyness for an aspiring stylist.

I just hope that one day he will open his archives for a bunch of stylists an costumers, because I was under a shock of this hidden treasure and right now I'm realising there must be plenty others to discover all around Paris.

That could be my quest. Visit the archives of more fashion brands. I'm sur it can bring eternal inspiration.

By the way that is what Peter Dundas made for his first collection by Pucci and the brand just seems transformed upon it!
